This report is not intended to be alarmist, but some readers will inevitably find some of the themes and recommended actions overwhelming. Based on the available evidence, the landscape of work is going to change dramatically over the next few years.
We have a choice to make: let events overtake us and be forced to take radical remedial measures (such as large scale redundancy), or dispassionately look the evidence in the face and start preparing today.
